Liverpool FC and adidas have today unveiled the Reds’ exclusive third kit for the 2025/26 season, a bold design that blends heritage with modern performance and pays homage to one of the club’s most iconic eras.
Available now, the striking sea green jersey takes inspiration from classic LFC and adidas designs of the 1990s and early 2000s. It marks the return of the adidas Originals Trefoil to an LFC kit for the first time in nearly 35 years and comes in three variations: short-sleeve, long-sleeve, and a newly created cropped edition.

On the reverse, the 97-emblem encased by the eternal flames sits proudly at the nape of the neck. The look is completed with white shorts featuring sea green detailing and matching socks. Adding to the retro feel, the kit also reintroduces the classic LFC crest from 1987–1992, uniting memories of the past with a fresh look for today’s teams.
To launch the kit, Liverpool actor and Reds fan James Nelson-Joyce leads a stylistic campaign video, released at 12 noon today, alongside men’s and women’s first team players Andy Robertson, Trey Nyoni, Fuka Nagano and club legend Steve McManaman. Created with local talent both on and off screen, the video also features familiar Liverpool faces including Dave McCabe (The Zutons), DJ Lauren Lo Sung and influencers Yombo and The Scouse Ghetto Gourmet.
The drop also introduces a striking all-black goalkeeper kit, an extensive training range, culture wear, hats, accessories, and a bold LFC Gazelle trainer.

The launch follows the club’s record-breaking start to its new 10-year partnership with adidas, with home and away kits achieving the highest-ever sales in the first month. Fans from more than 150 countries have already purchased kits, with 70 per cent of sales made through the club’s ecommerce platform.
Supporters can purchase the new third kit now via the official LFC online store, official club stores in the UK and internationally, and the Liverpool FC Store App. All Red Members will receive 10 per cent off the price of the third kit.
The men’s first team will debut the kit on 14 September against Burnley, while the LFC Women’s team will wear it for the first time on 22 November against Sheffield United in the Women’s League Cup.
