Southport town centre will come alive on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 September as the first-ever Coastal Jam festival brings two days of music, street entertainment, and family activities.
With stages at Town Hall Gardens and Market Street, plus live performances across bars and venues throughout the town, the festival promises something for everyone.

On Saturday 13 September, Market Street will transform into a lively street party with music from Kyle Shaw, Lucy Starr, Coopers Jazz Band and Clockwork Gibbons. Visitors can also browse a record fair, enjoy street performers, and explore stalls and activities at Southport Market. Roaming brass band Sticky Lips will add to the atmosphere, parading through the town with their high-energy sound.
The fun continues on Sunday 14 September at Town Hall Gardens, where a full stage programme runs from 11am to 6pm. Family-friendly acts will kick off the day, including Andy and The Odd Socks and Mosh Tots, followed by an afternoon of live music from Kiki Music Collective, Hello Felix, and local favourites Frank Flight Band. Alongside the music, visitors can enjoy food and drink from local traders, activity stalls, and special family workshops at The Atkinson, which will extend its opening hours for the festival.
Across the weekend, Southport’s bars and pubs will also host live music as part of the Coastal Jam line-up, with venues including Coopers Bar, Sinclair’s, Punch Tarmey’s, The Windmill, Tap and Bottles, Carlton and Banff taking part.
The festival is organised by Southport BID and Sefton Council, with the support of local businesses.
