Liverpool’s city centre nightlife scene has welcomed a brand-new Irish bar, with Baby Temp’l officially opening its doors beneath The Liverpool pub on James Street.
Tucked away in the basement of the popular venue, Baby Temp’l brings a lively Irish-inspired atmosphere to the heart of the city, offering a new spot for live music, drinks, and late-night entertainment.

The opening night saw Matt Croft, Regional Manager at Stonegate Brewery, who joined Tom, Danny, and Mark Lawrenson to celebrate the launch of the venue. Guests gathered to mark the start of what is expected to become a vibrant addition to Liverpool’s bar scene.
Designed to capture the energy and character of traditional Irish bars, Baby Temp’l combines a cosy underground setting with a buzzing social atmosphere. With its central location just moments from the waterfront and Liverpool’s business district, the venue is ideally placed for after-work drinks, weekend nights out, and live entertainment.

The space sits beneath The Liverpool pub, already a well-known city centre venue, and the addition of Baby Temp’l expands the building’s offering with a fresh concept aimed at music lovers and those looking for something a little different from the typical bar experience.
Opening nights saw crowds enjoying drinks and soaking up the atmosphere as the venue welcomed its first visitors. With its Irish-inspired theme and intimate setting, Baby Temp’l aims to create the kind of lively environment often associated with Dublin’s famous pub scene.

The team behind the venue say they hope Baby Temp’l will quickly become a go-to destination in Liverpool for great music, good company, and a proper Irish welcome.
As Liverpool’s nightlife continues to evolve, new openings like Baby Temp’l highlight the city’s reputation as one of the UK’s most exciting places to socialise.
Visitors can now find Baby Temp’l beneath The Liverpool pub on James Street, right in the heart of Liverpool city centre.
