Liverpool is set to welcome its first outdoor Night Market this August, with St George’s Plateau transforming into an evening marketplace filled with independent traders, food, drink and local creativity.
Taking place on Thursday 27 August from 2.30pm until 8.30pm, the Liverpool Night Market will bring around 40 artisan traders to the plateau outside St George’s Hall, overlooking Lime Street.

Visitors will be able to browse a wide range of locally made products, with stalls offering everything from food and sweet treats to arts and crafts, jewellery, gifts and handcrafted pieces from across the Liverpool City Region.
The St George’s Hall Portico Bar will also be open throughout the event, serving a selection of drinks including wine, beer and soft drinks.
Adding to the atmosphere, the Liverpool Signing Choir will give a special performance on the steps of St George’s Hall during the event.
Night on the Tiles
The evening will also give visitors another opportunity to experience one of St George’s Hall’s most impressive features.
A limited number of tickets will be available for Night on the Tiles, allowing guests to step onto the historic Minton tiled floor after hours.
Usually protected beneath a wooden covering, the spectacular Victorian floor is only unveiled to the public on selected occasions and is currently on display as part of St George’s Hall’s extended summer Minton Tiles programme.
Night on the Tiles will run from 4.30pm until 8.30pm, with tickets priced at £14.95, including access to the Minton floor and a complimentary drink.
Tickets can be booked in advance through Ticket Quarter, with a limited number also available from the Portico Bar on the evening, subject to availability.
