Production on Netflix’s upcoming thriller The Woods continues across the Liverpool City Region, with crews returning to Liverpool city centre to film scenes at St George’s Hall.
Fresh images captured show cast members Tom Bateman, Mandeep Dhillon and Roger Barclay on set as filming continues on the highly anticipated Netflix series.

The Woods is the latest adaptation from bestselling author Harlan Coben and follows prosecutor Paul Copeland, played by Bateman, as he investigates the disappearance of his sister two decades after she vanished without a trace. As new evidence emerges, long-buried secrets begin to resurface, forcing him to confront events from his past.
The new photographs come just days after filming was spotted at Hamilton Square in Birkenhead, where production crews transformed parts of the historic location for scenes in the eight-part thriller.
St George’s Hall is no stranger to major film and television productions, having previously appeared in a range of high-profile dramas and movies. The iconic Liverpool landmark once again provided a striking backdrop as cast and crew filmed scenes for the upcoming Netflix series.

Alongside Tom Bateman, the cast includes Michelle Keegan, Mandeep Dhillon and Roger Barclay, with filming currently taking place across locations in Liverpool, Manchester and the wider North West.
Netflix announced The Woods earlier this year as the latest UK adaptation of a Harlan Coben novel. The author’s previous Netflix hits include Fool Me Once, Stay Close and The Stranger, all of which have attracted millions of viewers worldwide.

The Woods centres on Paul “Cope” Copeland, a successful barrister and single father whose life is turned upside down by events linked to a tragedy from his past. Twenty years earlier, his sister Camille disappeared from a summer camp in mysterious circumstances, leaving his family devastated.
When a body is discovered decades later and connected to the same case, Cope begins to suspect that his sister’s story may not be over. As he sets out to uncover what really happened, he finds himself drawn into a web of long-hidden secrets, deception and shocking revelations that threaten both his family and the life he has worked hard to rebuild.

The series is the latest Netflix adaptation of a novel by bestselling author Harlan Coben and has been adapted for screen by writer Danny Brocklehurst, who previously worked on the hit Netflix dramas Fool Me Once, Stay Close and Run Away.
While an official release date has yet to be confirmed, excitement is already building as filming continues across the region, with Liverpool once again playing a starring role on screen.
