Liverpool shoppers were given a first taste of Chick-fil-A as the American restaurant brand popped up at Liverpool ONE ahead of opening its first restaurant in the city.

The Chick-fil-A team arrived in Liverpool city centre on Friday, 14 August, with a special lemonade stand serving the brand’s signature freshly squeezed lemonade to passers-by.

Timed perfectly with the summer weather, the pop-up offered people the chance to sample one of Chick-fil-A’s well-known drinks while building anticipation for the company’s upcoming Liverpool opening.

Chick-fil-A has confirmed that its first Liverpool restaurant will be opening soon, although an official opening date has yet to be announced.

The Liverpool opening will mark another major arrival for the city’s growing food and drink scene, with further details about the restaurant expected to be revealed shortly.

Chick-fil-A is particularly known for its chicken sandwiches, nuggets and waffle fries, alongside its freshly prepared lemonade.
