Coffee King to open new café in Liverpool’s Georgian Quarter

Coffee King is continuing its expansion across Liverpool with the opening of a new premium café in the heart of the Georgian Quarter.

Following the success of its Liverpool ONE location, the independent coffee brand will open its latest venue on Myrtle Street on Tuesday 1 September.

Located close to Liverpool’s universities, student accommodation, Hope Street and Liverpool Philharmonic Hall, the new café will sit at the heart of one of the city’s busiest cultural and student districts.

Customers will be able to choose from a range of speciality coffees alongside Coffee King’s signature savoury croissants and freshly baked cakes.

The café has also been designed with students and remote workers in mind, offering free Wi-Fi, plenty of plug sockets and comfortable seating for studying, working or catching up with friends.

With thousands of students living and studying nearby, Coffee King will introduce exclusive student offers and discounts throughout the academic year.

To celebrate the Myrtle Street opening, the first 50 customers through the doors on launch day will receive a free barista-made drink.

CEO and Founder of Coffee King, Sean Le Tissier said:

Further discounts will also be available throughout the day.

The new Coffee King café will officially open to the public at 12 noon on Tuesday 1 September.

Founded in 2016, Coffee King is a premium independent coffee brand offering a range of coffees, baked goods and retail products across its growing estate.

The Myrtle Street launch marks the latest stage of the company’s expansion in Liverpool following the success of its Liverpool ONE café.

Cocktails included in the festival will be priced between £5 and £7. Royal Albert Dock joins Liverpool Cocktail Week Royal Albert Dock Liverpool returns as the festival’s official event partner, with 11 venues around the waterfront taking part. The participating dockside venues are Delhi House, Gusto, Lunyalita, Miller & Carter, PANAM, Revolution, Rosa’s Thai, The Botanist, The One O’Clock Gun, The Long Shot and What’s Cooking? Festival-goers will also be able to collect their Liverpool Cocktail Week wristbands from Gusto, making Royal Albert Dock a convenient starting point for exploring the festival. Wristband prices start at £9.95 for Early Bird tickets, followed by £12.95 for Advance Wristbands and £14.95 for Final Release. Group wristbands for four or more people are priced at £7.95 per person.
