Festival favourite Clinton Baptiste is returning to this year’s Southport Comedy Festival in association with Halliwell Jones Kia Southport on Wednesday 7 October 2026.
Clinton Baptiste is the hapless clairvoyant medium psychic from Peter Kay’s smash hit Channel 4 TV show Phoenix Nights.
After last year’s sell-out performance, Clinton is back to deliver the best of his recent work, plus some new bits.
Join Clinton for his stories, jokes, plus demonstrations of his amazing ability and as always, he’ll be in the audience to give you truthful but startling readings from the spirit world!
The show is sponsored by Mark and Lyn Cunningham of Anthony James Estate Agents, who have been long-term supporters of the festival since 2012.
Stellar Lineup for the 15th Annual Comedy Event

Clinton is the eleventh show to be revealed for the 2026 programme, joining an already stellar line-up including Jason Manford, Jason Byrne, Henning Wehn, Gary Delaney, Mike Wozniak, Scott Bennett, Laura Smyth, Seann Walsh, Paul Merton, Suki Webster, and Adam Kay, with more shows still to be announced.
The 15th annual Southport Comedy Festival runs from 2–18 October 2026, returning for the sixth consecutive year.
It is in the luxury, fully seated and heated Elite Events marquee in the scenic surroundings of Victoria Park, home of the world-famous Southport Flower Show.
