Liverpool actor Stephen Graham is set to be honoured by Sir Paul McCartney during a special ceremony at the Beatles legend’s performing arts school.
The award will be presented at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA), which was co-founded by Sir Paul McCartney, recognising Graham’s outstanding contribution to film, television and the performing arts.

Stephen Graham has become one of Britain’s most celebrated actors, earning widespread acclaim for roles in productions including This Is England, Boiling Point, Time, Line of Duty and, most recently, Netflix’s global hit Adolescence.
The Kirkby-born star has long spoken of his pride in his Merseyside roots and is widely regarded as one of Liverpool’s most successful acting exports.
The honour will see two of the city’s biggest cultural figures come together, with music icon Sir Paul McCartney recognising Graham’s achievements during the ceremony at LIPA.

LIPA regularly celebrates individuals who have made exceptional contributions to music, film, theatre and the creative industries, with honorary companions chosen for their influence and achievements.
Stephen Graham’s career has spanned more than two decades, with critically acclaimed performances across television, film and stage.
His recent work has continued to earn international recognition, cementing his reputation as one of the UK’s finest actors.
The ceremony is expected to take place at LIPA in Liverpool on Tuesday, where Sir Paul McCartney will personally honour Graham for his contribution to the arts.
