Liverpool will give a warm waterfront welcome to HMS Mersey this weekend, with members of the public invited to step aboard the Royal Navy offshore patrol vessel.
The ship will be visiting Liverpool Cruise Port on Saturday 1 August, offering visitors a rare opportunity to explore HMS Mersey and discover more about life and service at sea.

During the visit, guests will be able to meet members of the Ship’s Company, take a closer look at the vessel and gain an insight into the important work carried out by those serving on board.
The free ship tours will take place between 10am and 5pm at Liverpool Cruise Terminal.
Visits are free, but advance booking is essential. Spaces are limited, so anyone hoping to go aboard is encouraged to secure a place as soon as possible.
