Chester Zoo has brought back its popular £10 afternoon tickets, giving families the chance to enjoy a final summer visit for less.
The limited-time offer is available from now until Sunday 6 September 2026, coinciding with the final days of the zoo’s extended summer opening hours.

Visitors booking an afternoon ticket can enter Chester Zoo from 3pm and explore until 6pm, giving them three hours to discover the zoo and see some of its thousands of animals.
Priced at just £10 per person, the afternoon tickets are available throughout the week, including weekends, making the offer a good option for anyone looking to squeeze in another day out before the end of the summer holidays.
There is plenty to explore during an afternoon at the zoo, from elephants, giraffes and penguins to tigers and some of the world’s most threatened species.
Chester Zoo spans more than 130 acres and, as a conservation and education charity, works to protect wildlife both at the zoo and through conservation projects around the world.
The £10 offer comes as Chester Zoo approaches the end of its summer opening schedule. The zoo is currently open until 6pm, before closing times change from Monday 7 September.
Afternoon tickets must be booked online in advance, with the £10 offer available until 6 September.
