FILM lovers in Liverpool can now sit back, relax and enjoy the newly upgraded Showcase Cinema de Lux.
To celebrate the refurbishment of the cinema, Showcase Cinema de Lux Liverpool hosted a VIP launch party last week where guests caught a preview screening of the new Richard Curtis and Danny Boyle film Yesterday from the comfort of the brand new fully customisable recliner seats.
Yesterday – starring Himesh Patel, Lily James and even Ed Sheeran – tells the story of a musician who wakes up in a world where The Beatles never existed.
Before the film screening, guests took in all the upgraded facilities including the new box office and Lounge Bar, which serves both alcoholic and soft drinks, as well as hot drinks from a Costa Coffee concession, making Showcase Cinema de Lux Liverpool the ideal place to relax before the movie even begins.
The transformation has seen every seat in every screen replaced with fully customisable, electric leather recliners, providing the ultimate relaxing atmosphere to enjoy the latest blockbusters such as Toy Story 4, Spider-Man: Far from Home and The Lion King.
The luxury upgrade comes at no extra cost to customers, as ticket prices remain the same as before the refurbishment.
To make the most of the Showcase Cinema de Lux experience, guests can also sign up to Showcase Insider scheme where members earn 10% back in rewards on everything they spend on tickets, food and drink, not to mention access to special screenings, exclusive competitions and member-only offers.
