Liverpool Restaurant Week is back this spring, shining a spotlight on the city’s vibrant and ever-evolving hospitality scene.
Now in its third year, the much-anticipated celebration of food and drink will run from 18–26 April, inviting locals and visitors alike to explore Liverpool city centre one plate at a time.

Organised and funded by Liverpool Business Improvement District, Liverpool Restaurant Week was launched to champion the incredible restaurants, cafés and eateries that make up the heart of the city’s culinary offer.
Throughout the week, participating venues will create exclusive food and drink offers ranging from just £5 to £35, giving food lovers the perfect excuse to revisit old favourites, discover somewhere new, or even build their own tasting tour across multiple venues.
In 2025, a huge 100 venues took part in the initiative, with an impressive £271,000 worth of dedicated offers downloaded by diners. Data also revealed that 60% of visitors went on to try three or more venues, highlighting the appetite for exploration and the strength of Liverpool’s diverse dining scene.
The city’s food and drink sector continues to go from strength to strength. It now represents 36.7% of Liverpool city centre’s economy, underlining just how central hospitality is to the city’s identity and growth.
Latest figures gathered by Beauclair show that spend on food and drink in Liverpool has increased by 4.1% compared with 2024, while in January 2026 alone, spend was up 11% compared with January 2025.
The sector, which includes accommodation, also plays a vital role in employment across the city centre, accounting for 9.3% of jobs, supporting 20,776 roles.

As Liverpool Restaurant Week returns this April, it once again offers a timely boost to local businesses while encouraging people to experience the rich, characterful hospitality offer that continues to define Liverpool’s city centre.
