Hill Dickinson Stadium, the home of Everton Football Club, has been officially shortlisted for Stadium of the Year 2025 in the world’s largest public vote dedicated to sports architecture.
The 52,888-seat venue has been nominated in the annual awards organised by StadiumDB.com, which invites fans and communities across the globe to select the best stadium completed in the previous year.

Everton’s new stadium recognised in global architecture vote
Now in its 16th edition, the Stadium of the Year awards showcase the most significant venues opened in 2025.
Since launching in 2011, the competition has grown into the largest open poll of its kind worldwide, celebrating excellence in stadium design and community impact.
Officially inaugurated in 2025, Hill Dickinson Stadium stands at Bramley Moore Dock on Liverpool’s historic waterfront.
The development forms the centrepiece of a major regeneration project within the city’s northern docks, transforming a reclaimed industrial site into a landmark sporting and events venue.
The stadium blends contemporary engineering with architectural references to Liverpool’s maritime heritage. Its distinctive brick façade and sweeping steel roof structure overlook the River Mersey, creating a striking addition to the city’s skyline.
Public vote open until 9 March 2026
Designed to generate an intense matchday atmosphere, the Hil Dickinson Stadium features a steep single-tier South Stand inspired by traditional English football grounds, alongside premium hospitality spaces and facilities capable of hosting year-round events.
Beyond football, the stadium is positioned as a multi-purpose venue capable of staging concerts, international sporting fixtures and large-scale cultural events.
Its nomination further strengthens Liverpool’s reputation as a global destination for major events and architectural innovation.
Fans around the world are now invited to cast their vote for Hill Dickinson Stadium via the Stadium of the Year website.
Public voting remains open until 9 March 2026, with each vote contributing to the final ranking and international recognition of Everton’s new home.
