Hill Dickinson Stadium has been crowned Project of the Year at the 2025 TheStadiumBusiness Design & Development Awards.
The honour was presented at a glitzy ceremony held during TheStadiumBusiness Design & Development Summit at Emirates Old Trafford, Manchester, where senior leaders from across the global stadium and venue industry gathered to celebrate excellence in design, innovation and delivery.
Everton’s new waterfront home impressed the judging panel with its ambition, engineering and transformational impact, taking the top award ahead of an exceptional international shortlist. Other contenders included Stockholm’s Avicii Arena, Estadio La Cartuja in Seville, Fulham FC’s Riverside Stand, Kai Tak Sports Park in Hong Kong, Nagasaki Stadium City and Stade Prince Moulay Abdellah in Rabat.
The win marks another major milestone for the stadium, recognising its significance not just for the Club, but for Liverpool City Region’s wider regeneration story.

The Design & Development Awards recognise leadership, innovation and achievement in the design, development, construction and refurbishment of sports and entertainment venues globally.
