Liverpool’s food scene is set for another major arrival as popular steakhouse brand Flat Iron will be opening their first restaurant in the city centre.
The restaurant will be arriving on Castle Street, bringing its famous affordable steak concept to Merseyside for the first time and adding another exciting name to one of Liverpool’s busiest dining destinations.
Known across the UK for its focus on quality beef and accessible prices, Flat Iron has become a favourite among steak lovers since opening its first restaurant in London.
The Liverpool opening will give diners the chance to experience the brand’s signature menu, with the official website stating the restaurant is coming soon
Flat Iron menu set to bring signature steaks and favourites to Liverpool

At the heart of Flat Iron’s offering is its famous signature steak, a carefully selected cut known for its rich flavour and value, alongside a range of other beef dishes and seasonal specials.
The Liverpool restaurant is expected to serve the brand’s popular Wagyu specials, as well as favourites including the Green Chilli Cheeseburger, made using beef from Flat Iron’s own herd.
You will also be able to enjoy some of the restaurant’s much-loved sides, including beef dripping chips, creamed spinach, truffled macaroni cheese and crispy bone marrow garlic mash.
The menu is designed around simple, high-quality ingredients, with steak remaining the focus of the dining experience.
Drink options will include cocktails, beers and wines selected to pair with the restaurant’s food.
Castle Street welcomes another exciting food arrival
The arrival of Flat Iron will add to Castle Street’s reputation as one of Liverpool’s go-to locations for restaurants and nightlife.
The historic city centre street has continued to grow as a popular destination for food lovers, with a mix of independent venues and established restaurant brands attracting visitors.
Flat Iron’s new Liverpool restaurant will be housed within a characterful building as they are completely renovating a historic Grade II listed building at 25 Castle Street which was the old 1930s Royal Liver Assurance headquarters and former Point Blank bar.
The opening is set to be one of Liverpool’s most anticipated restaurant launches, with steak fans eagerly awaiting the chance to try the brand’s signature dishes closer to home.
Flat Iron Liverpool is expected to open on Castle Street later this summer.
