The Last Day of Summer is fast approaching and the Waterfront programme can be revealed as final plans are made. Taking place on Saturday 30 August, the family friendly and wellness festival takes place across Liverpool’s famous waterfront.
Celebrating Bold Street continued the summer’s events celebrating the culture and businesses of the city centre’s streets last Sunday. Liverpool’s BID’s data shows a 20% increase in footfall compared with 2023 (the event did not take place in 2024).

The Last Day of Summer will include;
Open Water Swimming with WeSwimRun (this event is ticketed)
Bloom Market at Mann Island (indoor)
Circus Skills
Guided bike tours, free bike rental and balance bikes from Hype
Free Wyld sauna sessions (ticketed)
Canoe Tester Sessions with the Canal and River Trust
Giant Games at Royal Albert Dock including Chess, Noughts and Crosses, Jenga and Snakes and ladders
Free photobooth with Picczle for the first 50 attendees
Bubbleologist
Silent Adventures Silent Disco
Yoga at princes Dock at 11am & 2pm
Pilates at Princes Dock at 1 & 4pm
A Sound Bath at princes Dock at 12pm & 3pm
A ‘Create your own sea creatures’ workshop
Free Children’s Climbing Wall
‘Cali’ and ‘Mari’ walkabout Octopus
Street performances from Malaga Roamers and Sticky Lips
Live music from acts including Irish Duo, Abbie Fairchild and Jess Harvey
Batala Mersey at 2.30pm at the Pier Head
