The Beatles Story wins Gold at VisitEngland Awards for Excellence 2025

The Beatles Story was awarded Gold in the International Tourism Award category at the VisitEngland Awards for Excellence 2025, held last night at the Brighton Dome Corn Exchange.

The national ceremony celebrated the very best of England’s tourism industry, with The Beatles Story earning top honours following its earlier success at the Liverpool City Region Tourism Awards, where it also claimed the top spot in the same category.

This accolade recognises attractions that provide exceptional experiences and service to international visitors. The competition was intense, with more than 350 entries submitted from 21 local award programmes across England.

Celebrating its 35th year, the Liverpool Bealtes attraction continues to stand as one of the UK’s leading international visitor attractions, welcoming guests from around the world and playing a vital role in preserving and promoting Liverpool’s rich cultural heritage.

Tourism remains one of England’s most significant industries, supporting over 200,000 businesses, employing 2.6 million people, and generating around £76 billion in domestic visitor spending annually.

Mary Chadwick, General Manager at The Beatles Story, said:

“We’re absolutely delighted to receive this national recognition from VisitEngland. This award is a testament to our team’s hard work, the dedication of our community of global ambassadors, and our commitment to delivering an unforgettable experience for visitors from all around the globe. As we mark 35 years of The Beatles Story, we’re proud to continue sharing Liverpool’s unique musical legacy on a global stage.”
