You can claim free garlic bread this weekend as a nationwide restaurant chain partners with plastic-free chewing gum brand Milliways for National Garlic Day on Sunday 19 April.
Leaning into consumer insights, Zizzi has uncovered which regions of the UK are the most devoted to the flavour.
Taking the crown is the Southeast, where the Bluewater restaurant serves an average of over 250 garlic breads and bombes every week.
This region is followed closely by the Southwest, the East Midlands, and the Northeast as the UK’s primary garlic-loving hotspots.
To reward these regions, Zizzi is offering a little something extra at top-performing locations, as well as in Liverpool.
A Sustainable Partnership for Freshness

Milliways provides a plastic-free alternative to conventional gum, which is typically made with synthetic plastics.
Plant-based, biodegradable, and both sugar and plastic-free, the brand is helping to reshape the category with an environmentally conscious option that does not compromise on freshness.
Corinne Prior, Marketing Director at Zizzi, commented:
“The Southeast region consumes more garlic bread than anywhere else in the UK.
“We felt it was only right to commend their commitment.
“With a little help from our friends at Milliways, we’re making sure they can enjoy the full garlic experience, start to finish.”
Exclusive Offers for Zillionaires Members
The celebrations extend beyond the specific regional hotspots.
From now until National Garlic Day, Zizzi is treating all Zillionaires members to a free Garlic Bomb.
The offer is automatically loaded into each member’s Zillionaires wallet, ready to redeem at any Zizzi location.
Additionally, all new Zillionaires will receive an extra free garlic bread added to their Perkz wallets.
Whether visitors are lifelong enthusiasts or looking for an excuse to indulge, the partnership encourages diners to go big on flavour.
