This summer, in Southport town centre, a new smoker’s emporium shop selling cigars from around the world will open.
On Saturday, June 1, 2024, Wayfarers Shopping Arcade on Lord Street will see Nina’s Cigars open its doors.
Jozef Slebodnik, a specialist tobacconist from Slovakia who has lived in the UK for the past 13 years, owns the new business.
He is excited to open in Southport after running two Supreme Cigars stores elsewhere in the country.
The new store will be open between 10am and 4pm each day of the week except Mondays.
Jozef said:
“I am an owner of the Supreme Cigars stores in Warrington on Sankey Street and Colwyn Bay on Abergele Road.
“We stock a wide range of Cuban and New world cigars, so premium cigars from Cuba, Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, Honduras, Mexico and other countries.
“We also stock premium spirits, pipe tobacco, hand rolling tobacco, luxury gift sets, and cigar accessories.
“I am a specialist tobacconist and am looking forward to opening a quality cigar shop in Southport in the name of my daughter, Nina – Nina’s Cigars.
“We will stock premium cigars, hand rolling tobacco, pipe tobacco and cigar accessories.
“We are opening on Saturday 1st June 2024 and are looking forward to welcoming everyone.”
At the heart of the town’s well-known Lord Street boulevard stands the eye-catching Grade II-listed Wayfarers Shopping Arcade, which is one of the North West’s most celebrated shopping arcades.
Open seven days a week, visitors can enjoy a variety of independent shops and cafes set on two floors.
