Whether you are looking for a football-themed experience or a stroll through a historic estate, the city has a diverse range of seasonal events for all of the family to hop into Spring.
Take a look at the varied selection of things to do for Easter in the Explore Liverpool list below.
Speke Hall: The National Trust Easter Trail

For those who prefer a traditional outdoor adventure, Speke Hall is hosting its annual Easter Adventures trail from 28 March to 12 April.
Families can explore the Tudor manor’s gardens and woodlands while completing ten nature-inspired activity stations.
The trail costs £3.50 per child and ends with a choice of a classic or vegan chocolate egg, making it a favourite for scousers looking to enjoy the arrival of spring in a historic setting.
Anfield: The Kop Kids Easter Takeover

Liverpool FC is inviting young fans to go behind the scenes at Anfield from 29 March to 10 April.
The stadium tour is being upgraded for the holidays with a Kop Kids interactive treasure hunt, face painting, and crafts.
On 29 March and Easter Monday, the club mascot Mighty Red will be appearing for photos and football fun.
For those feeling particularly brave, the Anfield Abseil remains open throughout the break, offering a 100ft descent down the Main Stand.
Hill Dickinson Stadium: Junior Fan Takeover Week

The Blues’ new waterfront home is hosting a massive junior fan takeover from 6 to 10 April.
This is a must-visit for young supporters, featuring open training sessions where you can watch the Men’s Senior Team prepare for Premier League action.
The week includes mini tunnel tours, a special kit design studio, and a trading card swap shop.
A dedicated Easter egg hunt is integrated into the stadium tours on the Monday of that week.
Gravity MAX: Beat the Bunny Challenge
Gravity MAX is turning up the pace this Easter with a unique beat-the-bunny lap time challenge on their multi-level E-Karting track.
The Easter Bunny has set a benchmark time of 27 seconds, and any racer who manages to beat it during the holidays will earn a special treat.
Beyond the track, the venue is hosting a weekend-long Easter egg hunt throughout its arcade and AR bowling floors, making it a central hub for those who want a modern, high-energy holiday.

Set within the peaceful surroundings of Woolton, Strawberry Field’s historic gardens are marking Holy Week with a series of reflective experiences. Visitors can explore the grounds through a dedicated Easter trail, alongside access to the interactive visitor exhibition, offering a thoughtful way to spend time over the Easter period.
Running from Monday 30th March to Monday 6th April, the Easter Reflective Walk invites guests to follow a guided trail through the gardens, encouraging moments of rest, reflection and quiet discovery along the way. Trail booklets are available to collect from the donation point inside the Strawberry Field shop.
Families are also well catered for, with a Garden Explorer Map available to keep little ones engaged as they make their way around the gardens.
Royal Albert Dock: The Waterfront Easter Trail

The Royal Albert Dock provides a scenic backdrop for a waterfront activity perfect for all ages.
Visitors can collect a map and search for hidden characters and clues tucked away among the historic colonnades and independent shops.
The trail is free to participate in and offers a great way to explore the dock, with many nearby restaurants offering limited-edition Easter treats throughout the fortnight.
Otterspool Adventure: The Easter Adventure Festival
From 28 March to 12 April, Otterspool Adventure transforms into a full-scale Easter festival.
The event features a spring petting farm where children can meet newborn lambs, alongside a live Easter show and a dedicated parade.
It is one of the most comprehensive family tickets in the city, covering an egg hunt, the potting shed activities, and access to all the usual high-ropes and go-karting facilities.
Liverpool Cathedral: Easter Craft Workshops

For a more creative and peaceful afternoon, the Liverpool Cathedral is hosting free family craft sessions during the holidays.
These workshops are inspired by the Helios art installation currently on display, which features a seven-metre artwork of Earth.
Children can create their own themed art in the awe-inspiring setting of the historic cathedral, making it an excellent budget-friendly cultural option on select dates.
Princes Park: The Community Egg Hunt Trail

On Sunday, 5 April, Princes Park hosts one of the city’s largest free community events.
Starting at 10:00 AM, hundreds of families follow a map through the park to find giant painted eggs.
The trail concludes at St Philemon’s Church with games, crafts, and a guaranteed bag of chocolate for every child who completes the map.
It is a non-ticketed, inclusive event that captures the local community spirit of the Toxteth area.
Even though eating as many easter eggs as possible will be high up on the agenda for all, there is plenty to do around the city to get into the Spring scene.
