Bringing that little bit of Italy to Liverpool this Winter is the thriving independent Neapolitan pizzeria, Rudy’s. Specializing in serving that perfect slice of everybody’s favourite savoury dish of Italian origin, the original shop opened in the heart of “little Italy” Ancoats.
Successfully putting themselves on the map in Manchester 2015, the venue has since expanded to Peter Street in the heart of Manchester and is renowned for serving the best pizzas in the world! Due to the high demand for the mouth-watering wood burnt pizzas, the new pizzeria will open a 120-cover restaurant in a stripped back industrial style on Castle Street, Liverpool this winter.
The critical acclaim of Rudy’s has been unprecedented. Described in the new international guidebook, Where to Eat Pizza, as “Now one of the best places to eat pizza in the world”, The Guardian voted Rudy’s as one of the top ten pizza’s in the UK and Hardens Guide stated “ Now one of the best places to eat pizza in the UK’, this is only a small selection of outstanding reviews of Rudy’s pizzeria since it opened.
The ethos of Rudy’s is a true independent artisan operator. The restaurants incorporate a relaxed restaurant environment, with passionate Pizzaiolo’s intent on following the traditions and artistry of pizza from Naples – the birthplace of pizza. Their ‘Local Artisan’ approach which focuses on local suppliers has helped them create a name for themselves around the world in such a short amount of time.
The Cult venue is set to rank high amongst some of the best independent food ventures in the city, with the indie’s scene becoming the must visit venues to kick back, chill and tuck into some real good food.
