There Ain’t No Party Like a Popworld Liverpool Party! Liverpudlians are in for a treat this month, as world-famous nightclub Popworld has reopened with a brighter, bolder, and even better new look.
That’s right… a £300,000 investment has given the club a facelift, so its reign as the ultimate party destination in Liverpool can continue.
Famous for championing the nation’s guilty pleasures, clubbers FINALLY have something to look forward to – a night on the tiles to the best pop tunes in town. Reopening its doors on Wood Street for the first time since lockdown began in March 2020, it won’t be long until everyone can indulge in S Club 7, Destiny’s Child, the Spice Girls and Vengaboys once again, with up-to-date tracks from the likes of Joel Corry & Ed Sheeran thrown in for good measure!
With even more booths installed within the venue alongside an eye-catching colour palette of yellow, pink, aqua and purples, the bottle-to-table experience has been perfected so that no night out in the city centre will be complete without a visit to Popworld. What’s more, some of the venue’s all-new bookable VIP booths come with their very own private multi-coloured dancefloor – get ready to throw some shapes in style. No detail has been spared… even the loos have had a refresh!
Back with a bang, the club will mark its relaunch with a series of events, including appearances from Tina Turner and Freddie Mercury (Big Head characters), a Brass Street Band playing all the Popworld classics, and beloved club nights – Weekend Wednesdays, Thirsty Thursdays, Pop Party and more… they’re a must for those looking to dance the night away with a pop-tastic Skittlebomb in hand.
Access to the DJ has never been easier either, as partygoers will be able to text the screen to have their favourite songs mixed into the set, alongside retro videos that re-run the fun and bring back all the memories. Retro phones that will allow customers to order drinks and chat to their mates have also been installed, as well as a 360 Degree Pop Star Cam – but remember, what happens in Popworld, stays in Popworld!
