The Royal Albert Dock Liverpool has now become home to the independent artisan coffee house, Peaberry Coffee House and Kitchen. The recently opened venue is the second outlet from the popular independent coffee house and to showcase its divine culinary skills they are offering 50% off food for its weeklong soft launch.
Originally launching in Waterloo in May 2017, the café specialises in wholesome freshly prepared food. Run by husband and wife team Graeme and Clare Farrington, Peaberry brings a diverse menu of locally sourced meat, fish, vegan, vegetarian and gluten free dishes to its new home at the stunning waterfront.
The family-run business, with Graeme in the kitchen and Clare and her brother Sean at front of house, is the latest independent to take up residency at the historic site, as part of the Dock’s commercial owners Aberdeen Standard Investments’ commitment to reshaping the retail and leisure offering, with a focus on emerging brands and businesses.
Named after its signature single plantation Brazilian Peaberry coffee beans, special guest coffees will be available on a weekly basis, including additional single plantation coffee beans which can be tracked right back to the farm where they were grown. As well as smooth flavoursome coffee, the venue also boasts some great-tasting locally sourced breakfast and lunch options. The menu offers breakfast with a twist ranging from scrambled Tofu on Malted Bloomer Toast to Black Pudding, Chorizo & Eggs on Toast, visitors will be able to enjoy some mouth-watering food while taking in the beautiful views of the Docks.
The owners have made the most of its new location, with a 45-seated casual restaurant on one side and an open kitchen with a sandwich counter and bar on the other, Peaberry Coffee House is one place to pay a visit when next strolling along the iconic Royal Albert Dock.
The soft launch began on Saturday 8th September and will run until Friday 14th, so make sure you head down and take full advantage of the 50% off food offer!
