Sundays are always special at The Watering Can, but this Mother’s Day the team is pulling out all the stops to make sure that our mums know how loved and appreciated they are!
Whether you are planning a brunch or a lunch treat, The Watering Can have put together a day to remember for the special ladies in your life in the stunning surroundings of one of Liverpool’s most loved café/bistros.
Their Mother’s Day extravaganza starts with a 3-course set breakfast menu complete with a champagne cocktail on arrival, home-made pastries, a hearty breakfast, sweet treats, tea and coffee and a small token gift all for £32 per person. Breakfast choices include:- Full English Breakfast, Vegetarian Breakfast, or Shakshuka, all made with the finest quality ingredients and served freshly cooked to order.
If a Mother’s Day lunch treat is on the agenda, The Watering Can have put together a spectacular four-course menu with fizz on arrival and live music to make the afternoon extra special for just £47 per person. Guests can enjoy nibbles and the stunning menu has been created using the finest seasonal ingredients bursting with flavour. Starters include:- Stornoway Scotch Egg, Sauteed Wild Mushrooms, Chicken Tikka Skewers or a Roasted Cauliflower Steak.
The main courses include Boeuf Bourginon, Roast Goosnargh Chicken Supreme, a sensational Pan Fried Seabass or a Nut Roast. A selection of mouth-watering desserts are also available including:- Sicilian Lemon Posset, Baileys Tiramisu, or Vegan Carrot and Pistachio Cake.
Mother’s Day lunch will be accompanied by live music from the incredibly talented Berian Miles, who will be singing a repertoire of modern and contemporary classics to make the afternoon go with a swing.
