Liverpool summer festivals return with new Hope Street Blend

The Last Day of Summer will return for its second year on the waterfront on Saturday 30 August.

In 2025 a new festival has been added to the summer programme, Hope Street Blend, from Friday 26th to Sunday 28th September.

Coinciding with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic’s Open Day on 28th September, Hope Street Blend will bring together cultural partners along the famous Hope Street in a cascade of music and culture. The mini festival will see venues open their doors for pop up events, bringing music into unexpected spaces and celebrate a street that is synonymous with Liverpool;’s rich cultural heritage and identity.

Mark Da Vanzo is Chief Executive of Liverpool Everyman & Playhouse Theatres and is the incoming chair of Hope Street CIC and is on Liverpool BID’s Retail & Leisure Board said:

“We are delighted to be introducing Hope Street Blend, an opportunity to enjoy one of Liverpool’s finest streets. With a Cathedral at either end, the vibrant hum of daily life, with music and art filling every doorway and space, it is one of my favourite places to be in the city. Celebrating our best assets is something I’m very proud to do, and I can’t wait to be able to welcome as many people as possible into our Hope Street venues”.

Katie Bentley is Director of Strategic Partnerships and Communications at Liverpool BID Company said:

“It’s so important for us to celebrate the distinct and vibrant neighbourhoods that make up our city. These festivals are designed to be free, significantly, but also to bring to the fore their very characteristic personalities and communities that help to make them so popular.

We will be working with all of our businesses and levy payers to make them very special summer days”.
