Local entrepreneur Katherine Jones, wins two silver awards for her wines in the international ‘Glass of Bubbly’ Awards 2021 held in London.
Katherine has taken the UK by storm over the last 12 months with ThinK J Wines, with her brand also launching into the US market this year.
Their Prosecco and their Pinot Grigio Sparkling Rose have been exceptionally popular within California, New York, New Jersey and Florida. Back home the business has also experienced rapid growth which resulted in the recruitment of three new team members within three months and they are still on the look-out for another team member! ThinK has also onboarded with Thomas Ridley for distribution and this month won 2 silver awards in the prestigious international ‘Glass of Bubbly’ awards.
The Glass of Bubbly Awards is a world-renowned annual awards ceremony which is judged by 50 top wine professionals from around the globe.
There were 17 categories and ThinK won silver in 2 of them: ‘First Date’ and ‘Spring Fling’. The criteria for First Date was defined by ‘the perfect wine to accompany that first date. Nothing too complex and not necessarily a wine that needs to pair with exact foods’. ThinK PinK Pinot Grigio Sparkling Rose won silver in this category.
ThinK Prosecco won the silver award for the ‘Spring Fling’ category and the criteria for this was ‘a floral driven wine that expresses flowers from cherry blossom to rose petals. Imagine yourself walking into your local florist’.
