Known as Britain’s biggest Cathedral and the 5th largest in Europe, the Liverpool Anglican Cathedral stands beautifully tall at St James Mount. The Cathedral is free to enter, but they do offer the tower experience which gives visitors the opportunity to witness breath-taking views of the city.
The tour is the only open-air 360 rooftop view of Liverpool and beyond, showcasing panoramic views from 500ft above sea level. With two lifts and 108 stairs, the massive Vestey Tower is named after its benefactors the Vestey Family. Sights from the rooftop of the highest Cathedral in the UK span as far as Blackpool Tower on a good clear day!

The Bell Chamber to see the world’s highest and heaviest peal of bells.
Bell Nights – get to experience what its like to be a bell ringer with bell simulators and get to meet some of the cathedral’s bellringers.
You also have the chance to view the Elizabeth Hoare Embroidery Gallery, An exquisite collection of Victorian and Edwardian ecclesiastical embroidery with magnificent views of the Cathedral interior.
Tickets are priced at £5.50 per person, £4.50 concessions and family ticket (2 adults, up to 3 children) £15.00. Opening Times are Monday – Friday 10.00 until 5.00pm, Saturday 9.00am-5.00pm, Sunday 12.00pm-4.00pm, Last admission to the Tower Experience is 30 minutes before closing. The Tower Experience is closed to visitors during Bell Ringing.
