The festive countdown has officially begun on Merseyside as the M&S Bank Arena reveals a star-studded lineup for this year’s family pantomime, Cinderella.
Running at The Auditorium from 12 to 29 December 2026, the seasonal production features a blend of world-class choreography, West End vocals, and traditional local comedy.
Leading the festive chaos is the arena’s long-serving resident performer, Bippo, who is celebrating a major ten-year anniversary milestone performing at the waterfront venue.
Stepping into the role of Buttons, Bippo is set to deliver his signature brand of chaotic fun and slapstick comedy to families over the Christmas period.
Swapping the BBC Strictly Come Dancing ballroom for the theatre stage, dance professional Neil Jones will star as Prince Charming, bringing his world-class flair and choreography to the city.
Theatregoers should note that Jones is scheduled to join the cast for all performances starting from Sunday, 20 December.
Adding a healthy dose of pure Scouse wit to the production is Liverpool’s own viral sensation and internet icon, The Queen of Scotty Road, who joins the ranks as the high-energy Dandini.
The production also features experienced musical theatre performers. West End vocalists Orla Ridpath and Shelley Anne Rivers will star as the hilariously wicked Ugly Sisters, while classical countertenor and theatrical star Dominic Mattos takes on the role of the vocal powerhouse Fairy Godmother.
The title role will see the talented Rebecca Lake step into the glass slippers as Cinderella.
