Mean Girls brings The Plastics to Liverpool
Based on the iconic Paramount Pictures film, Mean Girls follows home-schooled teenager Cady Heron as she attempts to navigate the ruthless social hierarchy of North Shore High School.
Having grown up with her zoologist parents, Cady thinks she knows all about survival of the fittest. However, high school proves to be an entirely different challenge when she encounters The Plastics.
Led by the formidable Regina George, alongside Gretchen Wieners and Karen Smith, the popular clique rules the school and has no problem making life difficult for anyone who gets in its way.
When Cady hatches a plan to bring down Regina’s reign, she quickly discovers that crossing the school’s queen bee comes with consequences.
Audiences can expect the film’s iconic characters, razor-sharp humour, memorable songs and plenty of high-school drama as the story comes to life on stage.
An award-winning West End success
The Mean Girls musical has enjoyed international success since making its world premiere at the National Theatre in Washington, D.C. in 2017.

The Mean Girls story also returned to cinemas in 2024 with a new musical film adaptation from Paramount Pictures, introducing Tina Fey’s popular comedy to another generation.
