The restaurant will offer a takeaway bakery with 10-12 different types of sourdough croissants with various fillings, doughnuts, cakes, and a selection of sourdough breads, including wholewheat, all baked fresh daily by their talented team.

Botanico’s delicate afternoon tea will also be made from handcrafted cakes such as a tiramisu macaron, salted caramel croissant, passionfruit and pistachio slice, orange cheesecake, and plain and chocolate chip scones.

Pastrami with homemade truffle aioli and rocket, smoked salmon and dill cream cheese, Coronation chicken, and egg mayonnaise will be served on Botanico’s freshly baked bread.

Botanico’s Afternoon Tea is £24.95 per person with a glass of prosecco and tea or coffee included. Luxury Afternoon Tea is £29.95 per person which includes a glass of champagne and tea or coffee and Children’s Afternoon Tea is £14 per person.

Owner Donato Cillo explained:

“We’re very excited to be opening Botanico; a venue that is ideal for families, groups of friends or couples. We’ve created an extensive menu that caters for all so that our guests can choose dishes according to how they feel on the day. All of our dishes have been carefully created to ensure we offer a variety of flavours, textures and have something for all dietary requirements.

“After enjoying over 14 years of success in the Italian Quarter in Liverpool, myself and Antonio are bringing popular dishes as well as our homemade bakery to Woolton Village where our visitors can purchase loaves of bread, handmade croissants, cakes and doughnuts and or enjoy them in the comfort of Botanico’s beautiful surroundings.”

Antonio Cillo added:

“Botanico has been designed to reflect a bright, airy and vibrant space with greenery and leafy  features. Creating a beautiful atmosphere, the venue’s interior provides the perfect backdrop for our guests to come and enjoy their surroundings whilst tucking into delicious dishes from across our detailed menu.

“With bookings now open from Sunday 15th October, we’re all very excited to welcome our guests and enjoy our first winter in Woolton Village.”
