Liverpool waterfront hotel, Malmaison Liverpool has unveiled its new-look Bar & Grill restaurant.
Signature Mal touches to the restaurant’s revamped interiors include a bespoke flooring design tracing the course of the river Mersey in its design, intimate booth seating, and a huge disco ball placed in the lobby to beckon guests through to the fun that awaits in the Bar & Grill. The restaurant offers open-plan dining with views of Princes Dock.
The Bar & Grill is decked out in golds, greens, and reds, and its luxurious vibe is contrasted with industrial nods in the form of exposed brickwork and high ceilings. A splash of colour is added by artwork with a Liverpool theme capturing the many sides of the maritime metropolis.
The bar and terrace areas are connected by floor-to-ceiling bi-fold doors that let the inside flow out onto a lovely outdoor space, which is a sun trap all day and is ideally situated to take in the bustle of Liverpool’s busy waterfront.
A Josper Grill, which allows steaks, meat dishes, burgers, and fish to be cooked to perfection over charcoal, has been added as part of the renovation. The centrepiece will be a variety of British, grass-fed, dry-aged steaks prepared on the Josper, which will give them the restaurant’s signature fiery and rich flavour.
The refreshed seasonal menu catering to meat-eaters and plant-based diners alike will pair expertly with Malmaison’s curated wine list with bouquets from around the world to suit every palette.
The space also features a refreshed sultry and sleek Liverpool Bar offering the chance to try Mal’s signature cocktailsand after-dinner digestifs.
The luxury new space can seat 170 covers inside and 90 on the terrace where guests can make the best of the British weather this Spring by taking things al-fresco with seating well-positioned for waterside views that take in the buzz of Liverpool’s bustling waterfront.
The Bar & Grill renovation will be swiftly followed by complete renovations to the two suites, which will now become The Liver Bird Suites. Following the upgrade to its 130 stylish bedrooms in 2018, Malmaison Liverpool will unveil its new-look signature suites soon, and will be available to book from late April 2023.
