A sell-out wellness fundraiser is returning to Liverpool this August in support of The Azaylia Foundation.
Wellness With Purpose will take place at BOXPARK Liverpool on Saturday, August 8, bringing together fitness, mindfulness, music and fundraising for a full-day charity event.

The event is being organised by author, fitness and wellness instructor Rebecca Burgess, following the success of last year’s fundraiser.
Running from 10am to 5pm, the day will begin with a wellness morning featuring Pilates, manifestation, meditation and a sound bath. Guests will also enjoy music from Liverpool favourite Sacha PVJ.

From 2pm until 5pm, the event will continue with a bottomless brunch, karaoke, games and music from DJ Tizzle.
The fundraiser is being held in aid of The Azaylia Foundation, the charity founded by Ashley Cain and Safiyya Vorajee following the death of their daughter, Azaylia Diamond Cain, who sadly passed away from cancer at just eight months old.
The foundation supports children and families affected by childhood cancer, while raising awareness and funding in Azaylia’s memory.
Wellness With Purpose will take place at BOXPARK Liverpool on Saturday, August 8, from 10am to 5pm.
You can book your tickets here.
Safiyya who will be joining Rebecca to co host the event, said:
“Wellness with Purpose has become so much more than an event to me. It’s a reminder that when people come together with open hearts, we can create something really meaningful. Last year, we saw strangers leave as friends, people take time to invest in their own wellbeing, and together we raised vital funds for children and families facing childhood cancer.
I’m so excited to bring it back to BoxPark Liverpool for a second year. Every ticket sold helps us continue the work of The Azaylia Foundation, supporting families through the most difficult times while pushing for the change that children with cancer so desperatelydeserve.
For me, this day is also about honouring my beautiful daughter, Azaylia, and every child bravely fighting childhood cancer. Their strength is the reason we keep showing up, keep raising awareness, and keep believing we can create change.
My hope is that everyone who joins us leaves feeling inspired, connected and proud to have been part of something bigger than themselves.”
Rebecca who is also an influencer, uses her platform to encourage people to be the best they can, her humour realistic & relatable approach as well as her nurturing nature are what her audience love about her.
Rebecca, comments:
“As a parent it breaks my heart thinking what Safiyya, Ashley & Azaylia went through and finding out the shocking reality that only a minimal % of government funding goes into the research of childhood cancer, is horrendous, so I created this unique fundraising event, to not only raise vital funds but awareness too. Last year we raised £3,500 and I’m on a mission to achieve even more this year, to help make a difference for these children and families!!”
