Local walkers are being invited to take on a 7.5-mile challenge to the summit of Moel Famau and raise vital funds for Liverpool homelessness charity The Whitechapel Centre.
The circular Walk4Whitechapel route will begin at Loggerheads Country Park before taking participants through the North Wales countryside to the summit of the popular Flintshire peak.
A firm favourite with walkers from Liverpool and across the region, Moel Famau offers spectacular views and a rewarding climb.
The fundraising event will take place from 8.30am on Saturday, 26 September 2026, with people of all abilities encouraged to take part.
Money raised will support the work of The Whitechapel Centre, which helps people who are experiencing homelessness or are at risk of losing their homes.
The Liverpool-based charity is open every day of the year and provides services including outreach support for rough sleepers, specialist housing and benefits advice, and health and wellbeing assistance.
It also runs learning programmes designed to help people develop the skills and confidence they need to live independently.
By joining the walk, fundraisers will help the charity continue providing essential support to thousands of people across the Liverpool City Region each year.
Entry costs £30 per person, with an early bird price of £20 available for bookings made before 31 August 2026.
Participants are encouraged to aim for a sponsorship target of £100 each. Anyone aged under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
