A spectacular new family-friendly experience is heading to Liverpool this summer as the hugely anticipated Space Safari drone light show prepares to make its city debut.
Taking place at Aintree Racecourse, Space Safari promises an unforgettable evening of entertainment, combining cutting-edge drone technology, immersive storytelling, live entertainment and family attractions.

The unique outdoor event will see hundreds of synchronised drones take to the night sky, creating stunning animated displays accompanied by a specially produced soundtrack and narration. The show follows the adventures of Cleo the chameleon on an inspiring journey through space, telling a story of courage, self-belief and discovery through a breathtaking display of light and sound.
Narrated by BAFTA Award-winning television presenter Michaela Strachan, the experience has been designed to captivate audiences of all ages, offering a fresh take on outdoor family entertainment.

The Liverpool event is scheduled to take place at Aintree Racecourse on Saturday 29 August, with gates opening from 4pm ahead of the evening’s main drone show finale. Alongside the aerial spectacle, visitors can also enjoy live tribute acts, fairground rides, face painting and a variety of street food vendors throughout the evening.
Space Safari has been created as an eco-friendly and neurodiverse-friendly experience, offering a modern alternative to traditional fireworks displays while delivering all the wow-factor of a large-scale outdoor event.
Organisers have advised that, as with all drone performances, the event is weather dependent. Should conditions prevent the show from going ahead, contingency dates are in place and ticket holders will be contacted directly with updates.
Tickets for Space Safari Liverpool are on sale now, with organisers expecting strong demand for what promises to be one of the city’s most unique family events of the summer.
