Bargain hunters and vintage fashion fans are being invited to rummage for pre-loved treasures when The Whitechapel Centre’s popular Fill A Bag event returns to Liverpool next month.
Organised by Open Door, The Whitechapel Centre’s charity shops, the event will take place at One Fine Day on Old Hall Street on Monday 5 October.
For £15, shoppers will receive a bag and have 90 minutes to fill it with donated clothing, with everything from well-known brands and wardrobe staples to vintage pieces and items in need of a little care up for grabs.
Organisers say the event offers people the chance to refresh their wardrobes affordably, give pre-loved clothing a new lease of life and support The Whitechapel Centre’s work tackling homelessness across Liverpool.
Two separate Fill A Bag sessions will take place during the day, from 3pm to 4.30pm and from 5.30pm to 7pm.
Tickets are required separately for each session and must be purchased in advance.
Refreshments will also be available from the adjoining Little Leaf café for those attending the event at One Fine Day.

Tickets are available here, with organisers warning that previous Fill A Bag events have sold out.
Open Door is operated by The Whitechapel Centre and sells donated clothes, shoes, accessories, books and homeware, with proceeds supporting the charity’s work with people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
It has charity shops at 28 Allerton Road in Allerton and 105 South Road in Waterloo.
The Whitechapel Centre operates every day of the year and provides services including support for rough sleepers, housing and benefits advice, health and wellbeing support, and learning opportunities designed to help people develop the skills needed to maintain a home and live independently.
