Proposal at The TheraPlate UK Liverpool International Horse Show

  • December 31, 2019
  • Editor

Love was in the air at the M&S Arena on Monday 30th December when an amazing proposal took place at The TheraPlate UK Liverpool International Horse Show.

Andy Dutton and Chrissy Leak stolen the show, when the big question was popped at the sensational four-day equestrian event.

Returning for its fifth and most exciting year, the event offers spectators the chance to experience world-class showjumping and equestrian sport, bringing some of the finest horses and riders in the world to the North West.

A statement from the Show President, Nina Barbour is as follows: “We were thrilled to help Andy organise a proposal like no other at this year’s show. The plan was to announce that their seat numbers had won a special prize during the Puissance to get the couple down on stage. Once they were in place, Andy popped the question and thankfully Chrissy said a big “hell yes!”.

Although this was a truly unique proposal, it’s not the first year a reveller has got down on one knee so there certainly must be something in the air here in Liverpool! It really has been another special year for us and it’s not over yet; tonight’s New Year’s Eve celebrations are bigger and better than before so if you fancy bringing in 2020 with a bang, tickets are still available to purchase online or over the phone.”
