PINS and The Roof Project reveal their biggest Christmas plans ever!

This festive season, two worlds collide as Liverpool’s PINS and The Roof Project kick off their Christmas vacation celebrations this week.

The two Ropewalks venues have joined forces for the first time in a massive festive collaboration that runs from November 16 to December 31.

PINS are going all out for a traditional American Christmas, decking the halls, trimming the trees, and transforming two floors of their Duke Street home into a Winter wonderland, complete with thousands of lights, giant hanging spruces, swags, bows, and more candy canes than you can shake a stick at.

Everything is prepared and on a low light in the kitchen, with PINS ‘Season’s Feastin’ menus, a perfect choice for sharing with friends and family. New winter cocktails include Miracle on Duke Street, made with Aperol, Prosecco, and Cranberry, and Ms. Matchmaker, made with Grey Goose, Creme de Menthe, Creme de Cacao, and Cream.

The team has also planned all of the holiday games, from bowling with your besties on the lanes to pool and shuffleboard upstairs in Rocco’s Games Room, and Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without singing your heart out to Mariah.

But something is going on up on the Roof Project, as “that” side of the family has arrived in town in their trashy RV and is throwing their own party.

Billy-Bob and Whitney, cousins, are staying for the season and bringing their own Trailerpark vibes from their heated and covered rooftop campsite up the back stairs on Gradwell Street. (Keep an eye out for their actual RV, which is stunning!)

All decked out for the holidays The Roof Project is brimming with beer and holiday spirit.

Think Tequila cocktails, hard liquor, inflatable Santas, deep-fried turkey, beer can Christmas trees, burgers and pizza for days and armfuls of the most tacky fairy lights from the local five and dime.

Watch your favourite Christmas films at the bedsheet cinema, which has dates throughout December, play a round of Cornhole or Beer Pong and shotgun a couple of blue ribbons before joining in on a raucous chorus of Sweet Home Alabama!

The rellies are even venturing downstairs to party in PINS every weekend, taking to the stage alongside the rest of the PINS dancers in an entertainment showdown of epic proportions – a real rollicking Hooternanny!

Top tip: get the best seat in the house by booking a feasting table, PINS’ runway-side booths, or tables with unrestricted views of all the festive frolics.

Dan Gillbanks, co-Founder of PINS and The Roof Project commented:

“It’s been loads of fun developing this year’s Christmas campaign and linking the two venues – despite such a contrast between the rooftop trailerpark and the more traditional feel of downstairs, they both have come together perfectly. We know guests are going to enjoy partying across all the floors.”

So, from family feuds in Rocco’s Games Room to kissing and making up in The Lobby and gittin’ together over great food, to elegant cocktails, hard liquor and late-night dancing, this year will be the best yet. And whether you prefer your Christmas tradition or something a little rougher around the edges, everyone is a welcome house guest this holiday season at PINS and The Roof Project.
