Paul Askew brings an evening of gourmet cooking to raise money for EITC

Professional Liverpool will be giving culinary enthusiasts the chance to don their chef’s hat in an evening of gourmet cooking with world renowned chef Paul ‘Porky’ Askew.

The event, which will be broadcast live from 6:00pm on 25th March from Liverpool’s award-winning The Art School Restaurant, will see the venue’s Patron Chef talk audiences through how to prepare a four-course gourmet meal from the comfort of their own homes.

In addition to this, The Art School Sommelier, Sarah, will explain the wine pairing provided in a special Art School Box, which has everything you need for your meal, as well as a bottle Podere Castorani Sparkling Wine, fresh Valentine’s flower posy and petit fours.

The event is the first to be held since Professional Liverpool announced it was supporting Everton in the Community as charity of the year, and all profits will be going to the charity to help with their ongoing effort in helping struggling families across Merseyside.

Additional recommended wine pairings can be ordered from The Art School website, along with any last minute Valentine’s presents, and a vegetarian version of the menu is available on request for no extra cost.

The event is also a good chance for professionals to enjoy networking, with Professional Liverpool members receiving a discounted ticket price.

Andrew Ruffler, chief executive at Professional Liverpool, said:

“We are delighted to be working with Paul and The Art School to host what will be a fantastic night for couples and friends during the first ever lockdown Valentine’s.

“Everton in the Community is an incredibly valuable charity with values that closely align with Professional Liverpool’s, so we are excited to be able to support them in their ongoing work.”

Tickets are available here, and boxes will be available for collection from The Art School on the day between 2.00pm – 4.00pm.
