LOST, the newest addition to Wirral’s dining and events scene, has officially launched its first two supper clubs this week.
The much-anticipated new venue, located in Claremont Courtyard, adjacent to the ever-popular Claremont Farm, welcomed guests to its first Asian Fusion-themed dining event with foodie partners Cheeky Chilli, followed by a kitchen takeover with a Latin American vibe courtesy of Matt Hardy and the Hardy’s Catering team.
The ancient barn has been transformed by owner Dave Loughlin into a stunning dining and events space, complete with twinkling lights, a feature stone staircase with a glass floor, and a new wraparound mezzanine to create extra seating in the beautiful, beamed loft area.
Speaking about the transformation, Dave commented:
“My construction company Cube 7 were based in the barn for several years and always felt it could make an amazing entertainment space. The stone walls, amazing acoustics and original features mean it’s totally unique and we can’t wait to welcome more guests over the coming months.”
Unlike a traditional restaurant, the venue will only be open for special events and private hire on occasion. So far, the concept has been a huge success, with the first few supper clubs selling out in record time.
‘We’ve been amazed and really humbled by the response so far,’ said Dave. ‘Our first few nights, Asian Fusion, Day-of-The-Dead and Amalfi Coast, sold out almost immediately and our two Christmas Supper Clubs with members of the Liverpool Philharmonic – The Claremont Ensemble, playing songs from the Christmas movies & Christmas Carols are also fully booked, but we’ve just added another November date with Hardy’s (Taste of Autumn – Saturday 10th November £65pp), we are hosting our Luxury Wreath Making Evening on 30th November and are looking to extend our Christmas programme, so keep your eyes on social media to catch the release dates.’
