Art enthusiasts in Liverpool can look forward to a vibrant display of contemporary talent as a landmark creative showcase prepares to open its doors to the public this summer.
Liverpool John Moores University will present ‘Reflections’, a group exhibition showcasing the work of ten graduating artists from the MA Fine Art programme at Liverpool School of Art & Creative Industries.
Opening with a launch event on Thursday, 23rd July 2026, 5 – 8 pm, the exhibition will then run until Friday, 31st July 2026 at the John Lennon Art & Design building.
For industry professionals, regional critics, and journalists wanting an early look at the collection, a dedicated press preview will also take place ahead of the main opening on Thursday, 23 July 2026, from 4 pm to 5 pm.
The highly anticipated showcase marks the culmination of the cohort’s study and research during their time in the MA program.
Shaped by conversations about looking back and looking forward, the exhibition title acknowledges individual responses to personal, social, and material questions while celebrating the group’s shared experience.
Members of the public are warmly invited to attend the launch event and visit the exhibition throughout its duration.
Following the opening night festivities, the galleries will remain fully accessible from 24th July to 31st July between 10 am and 5 pm, though organisers note the space will be closed over weekends and on Thursday 30th July.
The event takes place at the prominent John Lennon Art & Design Building, based at Liverpool John Moores University on 2 Duckinfield Street, Liverpool, L3 5RD.

The collection brings together an array of distinct artistic media, reflecting the individual creative journeys and technical specialisms of the international cohort.
Bringing together a range of contemporary practices including painting, printmaking, sculpture, performance and sound-based works, the exhibition highlights the diverse work produced by this year’s graduating cohort and offers visitors the opportunity to engage with a wide variety of artistic approaches and ideas.
By blending traditional physical crafts with modern sensory media, the gallery space transforms into an immersive environment designed to challenge conventional boundaries.

The highly anticipated event serves as a crucial springboard for the emerging talent as they transition from post-graduate academic research into the professional cultural industries.
The exhibiting artists are: Georgia Duv, Ashley Holmes, Lois Kennerley, Kirsty Madden, Amber Masters, Sandra Mutukwa, Mariana Sequera, Anya Taylor, Sam Waiting and Phoebe Walton.
