Liverpool's Iconic attraction RLB360 wins big at the LCR Tourism Awards

Ceremonies may be visual right now but that didn’t stop RLB360 celebrating their victory in style at the LCR Tourism Awards.

The tour of the city’s iconic Royal Liver Building, RLB360, which includes a digital experience inside the historic clock tower and amazing views of the city from the fifteenth floor, has been named ‘Small Visitor Attraction of the Year’ in the LCR Tourism Awards.

The tourist attraction, operated by Heritage Great Britain, takes visitors on a tour of Liverpool’s most famous building and treats them to a spectacular interactive video which is projected onto the building’s internal clock faces.

Designed by the international digital experience company Holovis, the projection showcases key  moments from the city’s history – highlighting major sporting events like the Grand National and celebrates Liverpool’s rich musical heritage with 3D archive footage.

Commenting on the award win, Chris Devaney from RLB360, said: “Visitors tell us that they are wowed by the RLB360 experience so to win this award is fantastic recognition. It is an incredible moment for us. It has been a tough year in many ways but RLB360 will be back open soon and we’ll be ready to continue to show off Liverpool’s most famous building. It is something that everyone from Liverpool or with a connection to the city should experience.”

Although the doors are temporarily closed due to the national lockdown, RLB360 have a reduced price ticket offer on which can be bought as a gift voucher lasting for twelve months – making the perfect Christmas gift. The attraction has also launched a range of locally produced products which are now available.
