Liverpool’s biggest, FREE Oktoberfest party returns this month at the Baltic Market.
From Wednesday 27th September until Sunday 1st October, Baltic Market will host its legendary celebrations with pretzel eating competitions, oompah bands, German beers, themed cocktails, special dishes, a Jäger pop up and more!
The ultimate celebration of German culture, Baltic Market’s five day festival will see guests tucking in to mouthwatering pretzels, raising a stein and simply having a good time!
Liverpool’s first street food and drink market will welcome thousands of guests over the five day celebrations where fancy dress is encouraged – lederhosen recommended – and it may even get partygoers a free shot!
Creating unforgettable memories for guests, Baltic Market will have authentic oompah bands providing the entertainment, as well as an exciting pretzel eating competition where those entering can test their limits on how quickly they can eat two delicious pretzels and some other German goodies.
Prizes and bragging rights await the winner with full entry details revealed soon.
No Oktoberfest celebration is complete without a selection of fine German beers and Baltic Market will have a diverse menu of Bavarian beers from classic lagers to rich and flavourful ales so there’s something for everyone!
But, if beer isn’t preferred, the market will also have a range of themed cocktails on offer – they’ll be delicious concoctions that capture the essence of Oktoberfest whilst adding a unique Baltic Market style twist.
There will also be a Jäger pop up complete with shots, cocktails and all things that popular German liqueur!
To go with the drinks offering, the local, independent food traders including Hafla Hafla, Patterson’s, Richie’s, Polpetta, La Bistroteca, Little Furnace, Spice Thai, Midnight Delivery and Christakis, will also have special dishes available including bratwurst, chicken schnitzel, sausage sandwiches, pork frankfurters pizza and pretzels to name a few, as well as their signature menus that are packed with delicious dishes.
Entry is completely FREE. Baltic Market is both family and dog friendly, however, no under 18s are permitted at Oktoberfest after 6pm on Friday and all day Saturday.
