On Sunday, October 29, from 12 to 5pm, Liverpool ONE will welcome witches, ghouls, zombies, and everything in between for its ultimate annual Halloween celebration.
The much-loved fancy dress competition will return this year, as will scary characters, zombie dances from MD productions, and eerie characters taking over Liverpool ONE.
The spooktacular fancy dress competition, hosted by Radio City Breakfast Show hosts Leanne Campbell and Scott Hughes, will allow children to show off their creativity for a chance to win prizes.
Katumba will lead a special Halloween parade with the spooky winners of the fancy-dress competition, who will be invited to join and show off their costumes to the crowds on Liverpool ONE.
Giant trees roaming the streets, living lampposts, a hungry venus flytrap, and giant slinkies await daring visitors to the spooky event. A giant spider that has nested on South John Street ahead of the event rounds out the lineup.
Donna Howitt, Place Strategy Director at Liverpool ONE, said:
“Halloween is one of our favourite events of the year at Liverpool ONE – we are looking forward to welcoming families of all ages turn out in their fancy dress as they get into the spirit and join in the fun.
“Every year we are surprised by the creativity showcased at the fancy dress competition. Bringing people together is something we’re incredibly passionate about and we’re thrilled to welcoming back some of our fantastically spooky performers again.”
