Liverpool ONE has recorded its busiest summer to date after welcoming an average of more than three-quarters of a million visitors every week during the school holidays.
The city centre shopping, dining and leisure destination attracted around 107,000 people per day across the summer months, with almost 6.5 million visits recorded since 1 July.

Visitor numbers were up 5% compared with the same period last year, while sales across Liverpool ONE increased by 5.4% year-on-year during the six-week summer holiday period.
The record-breaking figures follow a busy few months for Liverpool ONE, with several new brands joining its retail line-up alongside a packed programme of events and activities.
New arrivals this year have included Lefties, Monica Vinader, Accessorize, Trailberg and Lovisa, adding to the destination’s growing mix of shops, restaurants and leisure attractions.
Visitors have also been drawn to a varied programme of entertainment throughout the summer, including Beach Fest at Chavasse Park, ChessFest, Liverpool Pride and the Tickle the Ivories Piano Festival.
Liverpool ONE also unveiled a giant grass artwork celebrating local golf star Tommy Fleetwood ahead of The Open at Royal Birkdale.
Brendan Hattam, Centre Director at Liverpool ONE, said:
“It’s been an absolutely incredible summer at Liverpool ONE, with more reasons to visit than ever before, from new store openings by big-name brands to a jam-packed schedule of events including piano performances from local talent and eye-catching city events.
“Whether you’re part of the incredible community that we are proud to serve and be part of, visiting from abroad or simply popping over for a day trip, we’re proud to welcome you at Liverpool ONE.
“We will continue to build on this success, with exciting plans for Christmas and the years to come.”
The destination, which is home to more than 170 shops, bars, restaurants and leisure experiences, is set to expand its line-up further in the coming months.
Outdoor sports brand Salomon is due to open later this month, bringing its first full-price UK store outside London to Liverpool, while luxury fashion brand Mulberry is also preparing to open at Liverpool ONE later this year.
Further investment is planned for Chavasse Park, where a new Liver Bird-themed children’s play area is being developed ahead of an expected opening in 2027.
The latest figures come as Liverpool ONE continues to play a significant role in the city’s economy. Figures from owner Landsec show the destination contributed more than £204.5 million to the local economy last year and supported 5,070 jobs.
