The LFC Stadium Tours and experiences have been awarded Bronze in the Large Visitor Attraction of the Year category at the prestigious VisitEngland Awards for Excellence 2025.
This national accolade follows the club’s earlier triumph at the Liverpool City Region Awards, where Anfield was honoured as one of the region’s top tourist destinations – earning it a place on the national shortlist.
The VisitEngland Awards for Excellence celebrate the very best of the country’s tourism industry, recognising organisations that demonstrate innovation, creativity, and a steadfast commitment to outstanding visitor experiences.
Anfield’s stadium tours continue to draw acclaim, with guides delivering unforgettable insights and behind-the-scenes stories that bring the club’s legendary history to life. In 2024, almost 400,000 fans explored the stadium, enjoying a unique chance to walk in the footsteps of footballing greats.
Paul Cuttill, Vice President, Stadium Operations at LFC, said:
“The recognition from VisitEngland is a true reflection of the dedication and passion of everyone at Anfield who helps bring the club’s legacy to life for every visitor.
“The club is incredibly proud to support Liverpool’s thriving tourism scene and is committed to sharing the Anfield experience with visitors from every corner of the world.”
The Anfield Museum has also recently undergone an exciting transformation. Now featuring nine interactive zones, it tells the story of LFC’s rise from modest beginnings to global success. Highlights include all major trophies, immersive exhibits, and a heartfelt tribute to Jürgen Klopp. Entry to the museum is included with every stadium tour.
