The LFC Foundation and Alder Hey Children’s Hospital co-hosted a memorable gala ball in the city last week, generating a grand total of over £950,000.
The event occurred at the Liverpool Anglican Cathedral on Thursday evening, with a crowd of over 500 guests who enjoyed an evening of entertainment and, most importantly, engaged in crucial fundraising activities.
The event’s proceeds will contribute to Alder Hey’s efforts in finalising their new neonatal unit and advancing the LFC Foundation’s ‘Move’ programme for children with respiratory and endocrine disorders.
Before Gary Barlow took the stage to cap off a memorable evening, Liverpool FC legends were on hand to welcome guests and spend the evening with them. Charles Hanson also hosted a live auction that night, which helped to raise an incredible amount of money.
Matt Parish, chief executive LFC Foundation, said:
“It was an amazing event and fantastic to have so many people come together to help raise an incredible amount for the two causes.
“These funds will make a huge difference to both LFC Foundation and Alder Hey Children’s Hospital so thank you from all of us to those who donated on the night and everyone who continues to support our work.”
