Court Hey Park will host two of Knowsley’s biggest free summer events with family entertainment, wellbeing activities and the North West’s largest free flower show.
Two of Knowsley’s biggest annual events are set to return to Court Hey Park next month, with the Knowsley Feelgood Festival and the 28th Knowsley Flower Show promising a packed weekend of free family fun.

Taking place on Saturday 1 August, the Feelgood Festival will offer a full day dedicated to health, wellbeing and community, with activities for all ages designed to get people moving, learning and relaxing.
Visitors can take part in a range of fitness sessions, wellbeing activities and mindfulness experiences, while also meeting local organisations and services offering advice and support from across the borough.
The celebrations continue on Sunday, 2 August, with the return of the Knowsley Flower Show, the largest free horticultural show in the North West.
This year’s theme, ‘Stories in Full Bloom’, celebrates the National Year of Reading by combining the worlds of literature and horticulture through creative displays and competitions.
Thousands of visitors are expected to attend the popular event, which features more than 100 competition classes covering everything from flowers and fruit to vegetables, baking, crafts and children’s entries.
Organisers are encouraging experienced exhibitors and first-time entrants alike to get involved.
Across both days, visitors can also enjoy a wide range of attractions, including food and drink vendors, independent retailers, community stalls, face painting, circus skills, the Bubble Fairy and a funfair with rides suitable for all ages.
New parking arrangements for 2026
Organisers have also announced new parking arrangements for this year’s events.
For the first time, there will be no general parking at Court Hey Park. Instead, visitors will be able to use a dedicated Park and Ride service from King George V Playing Fields on Longview Lane.
Parking costs £4 for the Feelgood Festival and £6 for the Flower Show, with both prices including a free shuttle bus to and from the park.
A limited number of Blue Badge parking spaces will still be available at Court Hey Park on a first-come, first-served basis.
With live entertainment, family activities, wellbeing sessions, horticultural displays, competitions and plenty of food and shopping, the Feelgood Festival and Knowsley Flower Show are once again set to be highlights of the borough’s summer events calendar.
