Jason will perform at Victoria Park in Southport on Saturday 12th October 2024, as part of his brand-new show ‘NO SHOW’ tour.

Jason Byrne will be performing NO SHOW at the 2024 Edinburgh Festival from August 1st until August 25th, followed by a UK tour from October 3rd to November 30th of the same year.

Jason is well-known for his hilarious performances and is excited to bring his beloved antics to the fringe and his upcoming tour.

Jason Byrne’s ‘NO SHOW’ is a unique comedy experience that doesn’t come with a safety net. In this show, the audience will witness something they will never forget. The show starts with no prepared content, and Jason will use his famous audience interactions along with some props, both on and off-stage, to create a one-of-a-kind show. ‘NO SHOW’ is a completely unique experience, which will never be repeated!

Jason said about NO SHOW:

“I can’t wait to take NO SHOW to the Edinburgh Festival and on the road! NO SHOW is literally me hanging onto the edge of a cliff by my fingernails. as audiences witness me turn a NO SHOW into a show! Using the beautiful, improvised madness that flows between myself and the audiences to create an amazing one-off performance! Comedy without the safety net!”

Jason is known for his lively and hilarious style of comedy that is fueled by his spur-of-the-moment interactions with the audience. His upcoming show ‘NO SHOW’ is no exception, and promises to be an evening of pure laughter and madness. So, get ready to buckle up and brace yourselves for an unforgettable ride filled with side-splitting hilarity. Don’t miss the chance to be part of the fun!

Jason has planned to bring ‘THE PADDY LAMA – SHED TALKS’ to London’s Museum of Comedy for a limited period from April 16th to April 21st, after its successful run at the Edinburgh Festival in 2022. In this one-man play, Jason portrays his father, Paddy, and takes us through his life journey, right from his childhood in Dublin until his days as a worker at Guinness where he blew up the Gas plant in the 80s. The Irish Times rated the show with four stars, however, Paddy, the protagonist of the play, wouldn’t care much about it. The play features Paddy sharing his 80 years of wisdom and wit, directly from his shed in Dublin, leaving the audiences with a heartwarming experience.

Jason said about Paddy Lama:

“I am so excited to bring ‘THE PADDY LAMA – SHED TALKS’ to London this summer. This is a heartwarming, funny, tears down the face, tribute to my dad Paddy Byrne. Everyone in the world has a Paddy in their life. Paddy is your dad, grandad, husband, brother, or son, so if you want to laugh, cry and listen to crap advice, ‘THE PADDY LAMA – SHED TALKS’ will be sure to resurrect some beautiful memories in your hearts.”

Jason has been recognized for his remarkable career in the UK Radio industry by receiving the prestigious Sony Radio Gold Award for his Radio 2 show. He has also hosted his own chat show titled ‘Jason Byrne’s Snaptastic Show’ for TV3 in Ireland and co-presented the show ‘Wild Things’ on Sky One.

In addition, he has also been featured in shows like Anonymous in Ireland and The John Bishop Christmas Show (BBC One). He has also made appearances on shows such as Network Ten’s The Project and NZ’s top-rating 7Days on TV3.

Jason is the sixth comedian announced for the 17-day Southport Comedy Festival, which will take place for the fourth year in a luxury, heated, and seated marquee at Victoria Park, thanks to Elite Marquees.
