Soul City Voices are a revered funk, soul and gospel collective who grace audiences with their captivating covers of classic songs. Having graced large crowds at Sefton Park, Cream Classical, Africa Oye and other big events as individuals and as part of big choirs, the group put on spellbinding performances that cause goosebumps, Heswall is in for a treat!

Meanwhile, The Night Shift Collective are a jazz, RnB and classic rock collective who have been wowing jazz clubs, venues and events for decades. Top jazz musicians have been guests or jammed with them including renowned saxophonist and clarinettist Frank Griffiths and BBC Young Jazz Musician of the Year finalist 2020 Alex Clarke, and they opened for the Tuesday Night Live show for two years!

Carol Hetherington from Events 471 said:

“We’re really excited to be putting on this night of top quality entertainment featuring two incredible acts! The Lighthouse Church in Heswall is a fantastic setting for it and what makes this night so special is that we’re raising money for two incredible local charities who do such important work.”

“The work Claire House does to support ill children and their families is formidable and Wirral Multiple Sclerosis Society does great work to help people battling MS, so it’s an honour to be supporting them both through this special night. We have some really exciting prizes for the raffle too so for quality music in aid of great causes and a chance to win big, come on down!”

Soul Purpose is one of many fantastic events coming up from Events 471. The Wirral music project also has Summer Solstice at Birkenhead Park Rugby Club on Friday 21st June, featuring Helen Downey, Grool and DJ No Bed, Bite at FutureYard on Saturday 29th June and The Lunar Pull album launch at FutureYard on Friday 5th July.

Carrick from Events 471 said:

“It’s been an amazing 18 months since we formed, with the aim of giving artists a platform and a fair deal, and we’ve had 25 events during that time — with over 2,500 tickets sold. Putting on charity events and supporting important causes is an integral part of our ethos so hosting events through our 471 Routes CIC like this means a lot to us.”
